The Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District (CSD) (" the Town") and our web development company NIA Creative, Inc. respect the privacy of every individual who visits the Town of Discovery Bay CSD website. This privacy statement outlines the information we will collect and how that information will be used.

  • Content on this website is available to all site visitors - there is no requirement to register or login to access the content; however, the site does offer an opportunity to opt-in to receive news and updates from the Town.  Site visitors also have the opportunity / option to complete one or more forms on the website, such as a Service Request Form, Contact Form, Opt-in to be on the E-mail List etc.   
  • Information collected via the opt-in process and/or via forms is retained in a database on the Town website. Only the Town and NIA Creative and/or their designees, will have access to the information collected. It will never be shared with any other companies, organizations or groups. We may use the information you provide to contact you about the Town website and Town services, events and urgent / emergency situations should they occur, and of course we will also use that information to respond to any queries you submit to us. In addition, we may take the opportunity to obtain feedback about your experience to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and overall site and service improvement. Should you wish to opt-out of this process, simply contact Town Staff and your information will be removed from our database.
  • In addition to the information you provide, we also collect non-personally identifiable data. Similar to many other commercial websites, this site utilizes standard technology called "cookies" and web server logs. Cookies allow web servers to recognize the computer used to access a website. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include the date and time of site visits, the pages viewed and time spent on the site. This information is collected on an aggregate basis only, and is not associated with you as an individual.
