The Golden Gate Division of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) encompasses 9 Bay Area counties covering 7,000 square miles: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.  The CHP provides monthly reports at the Town of Discovery Bay CSD meetings, on the first Wednesday of each month.  For further information, the public is encouraged to attend these meetings to become more familiar with CHP efforts in our community.
