The Town of Discovery Bay Community Services District (CSD) is requesting bids from qualified individuals or firms to provide labor and materials for landscape improvements to Discovery Bay Blvd. / Sandpoint Road.

Specifications and Bid Documents are available at the Town of Discovery Bay CSD office, located at 1800 Willow Lake Road, Discovery Bay, California, Telephone (925) 634-1131 or fax number (925) 513-2705. A non-refundable $25.00 charge for the complete set of Bid Documents can be paid by cash or check. If you are unable to pick up a copy at our main office, we will
gladly mail a package out.

Discovery Bay Blvd. / Sandpoint Road Landscape Improvement Project

Bid Submittals:

Bids shall be for and conform to the specifications and drawings. Prevailing wage as determined by the State of California, Director of Industrial Relations is required for bidding this work. Bid amount shall include all costs associated with performing construction services, which may include, but is not limited to, equipment, disposal fees, cellular phones, personal safety gear, mileage, and other travel expenses.

Mandatory Field Review:

There will be a mandatory field review meeting on Wednesday, November 17th, 2010, from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. at the project location. Bidders are required to attend. Any bids submitted by firms who did not attend the mandatory field review will be rejected.

Bid Opening:

Bid must be submitted prior to the deadline indicated above. Late submittals will not be considered in the award of the contract, as a Bid Opening is scheduled immediately following the deadline at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Town of Discovery Bay (CSD) Office. Attendance of the Bid Opening is encouraged, but not required. A Bid Abstract will be mailed to all Contractors that submit a bid.

The Town of Discovery Bay CSD is seeking proposals from qualified firms capable of operating and managing the Town’s water and wastewater systems. Such management shall comprise of operation of both systems including management of subcontracts. Services shall include, but not be limited to, general management of operations, maintenance, minor equipment repair and replacement (on behalf of and in cooperation with the Town), assisting the Town with upgrades and expansion projects, and related support functions such as Computer Maintenance and Management Systems (CMMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
